Johnny and Dukey must help a pathetic pirate, Nobeard, take down his powdildoasset with his sisters' help. They say no, and he breaks their new invention while Susan and Mary run after him. Trivia[]

  • This is the first episode to use flash animation instead of digital ink and paint animation to save the show's budget (due to the WB Television Network, where Kids' WB! originally aired, and its rival, UPN, merging into the CW, where Kids' WB! continued to air), although the latter process would be used again for the seventh and eighth seasons using Toon Boom Harmony and continues to be used during the second theme song until the fourth season and the first season during Kids' WB!'s airing of this season and the third.
  • This episode marks the beginning of Johnny Test as a full Canadian series; the first season was produced only in America, but co-produced in Canada.
    • The other differences are:
      • Johnny’s happy smile longer.
      • The theme song change, likely due to CanCon laws. Despite this, the original theme song was used even when the second and third seasons of the show were aired on Kids' WB! and The CW4Kids in the United States.
      • The setting being relocated from somewhere in the western American coastline as hinted in the first season to Canada, also likely due to CanCon laws
      • Where Susan no longer has eyebrows until they return to Season 4.
      • The screen pans and zooms across in more scenes.
      • Mary Test is voiced by Ashleigh Ball.
      • The title card fades in and out black.
      • The episode fades out with a black circle.
      • The episodes air part 30fps and 24fps.
      • All the characters are redesigned with thin outlines.
  • The twins could've zapped Dukey when he came back with the Turbo Time Teahouse.
  • This is the first episode of season 2.
  • Technically, Johnny's response to Mary asking if he thought her and Susan were going to just let him take the Turbo Time Teahouse, was inaccurate. He said "No, that's why we had a plan B", but this was before he made the plan for Dukey to return to the present from the past with the Turbo Teahouse.
  • A clip from this episode appeared in Johnny Test: Theme Song 2 - Johnny and Blackbeard fighting.
  • Among the treasures Johnny and Dukey found at the beginning were Amelia Earhart's plane, a T. Rex skeleton, a cattle wagon, a pyramid, a caveman frozen in a block of ice and a robot.
  • This is the first episode to contain the Teletoon and Coliseum Entertainment logos; the Warner Bros. logo still appeared until the end of the season. On DVD releases and Netflix, however, the Coliseum logo is replaced with the Cookie Jar logo.
