Johnny vs the Tickler is the second part of 87th episode and the 174th episode over all.

Summary[]

The Tickler, Wacko's evil brother, arrives to reclaim his brother's position as boss. His main goal is to finish Wacko's last uncompleted job: defeating the Test kids.

Characters[]

Plot[]

At Wacko's Toy Company, a red-haired man enters the board room who everyone thinks is Wacko. However, it turns out to be Wacko's twin brother, The Tickler.

Meanwhile, at the Test house, Johnny and Dukey are engaged in a tickle war. Dukey wins, having managed not to laugh for five seconds, while Johnny only lasted two. Dukey declares Johnny his servant and orders him to get a sandwich with ham and bacon, which Johnny grudgingly complies with.

Back at Wacko's Toy Company, a board member whispers that she didn't know Wacko, the supposed "psycho," had a brother. The Tickler takes offense, "fires" her, and replaces her with a new "yes-man." The head board member then explains that none of them knew Wacko had a brother, which doesn't surprise the Tickler since they were never on good terms. The Tickler reveals his plan to upstage Wacko by doing what his brother couldn't: getting rid of all the kids in Porkbelly, starting with Johnny. He asks the board how Johnny always beat Wacko, and one member responds that it was because of Johnny's genius sisters. So, the Tickler decides to eliminate them before taking down Johnny.

Disguised as an ice cream man, the Tickler, accompanied by a few board members, drives up to the Test sisters on the street. He offers them free ice cream samples, which then explode, releasing tickle-dust that paralyzes them with laughter. He has his "yes-man" record his ultimatum on a cell phone and sends it to Johnny so they can track him. Afterward, he forces the sisters to lead them to their secret lab.

Meanwhile, Johnny and Dukey are busy testing a freeze ray by using it on a snowy slope, which they then gleefully snowboard down. Suddenly, they receive a message from the Tickler, but they mistake him for Wacko. The Tickler, who was hiding behind a tree, is annoyed by this mix-up. He declares, "I'm the Tickler!" and proceeds to "tickle Johnny to his doom." His tickle belt—a contraption with four arms, two to hold someone up and two to tickle them—lifts Johnny into the air and begins its relentless assault.

Johnny laughs hysterically, completely at the Tickler's mercy. Thinking fast, Dukey uses the freeze ray on the Tickler, immobilizing him. With their foe temporarily out of commission, they quickly head to Susan and Mary's secret lab to gather some gear to rescue the girls and defeat the Tickler.

However, when they arrive at the lab, they find that the Tickler got there first and took everything! Johnny then decides he and Dukey need to out-evil him to win, so they go to seek help from other villains.

He first goes to Zizrar for help, who is putting on a one man Shakespeare production. After sweet talking him into it, he tells Johnny to use the "element of surprise" and shows Johnny this by surprising the mayor of Porkbelly by popping out of the ground in his office.

Johnny next goes to talk with Dark Vegan who tells him that a deep threatening voice is good and gives them two prototype helmets with voice modulators in them.

Finally, they go to Mr. Mittens for help who tells him about evil catchphrases. They also find out from him that his butler, Albert, is immune to tickling so they ask if they can borrow him too.

While this is all going on, the Tickler gets sick and tired of trying to find Johnny. So, he decides to use Johnny's sisters as bait to lure him out of hiding. He places Mary and Susan in the "Super Tickle Lounger 9000"—two robotic chairs equipped with straps at their arms and waists, a pair of arms to remove their shoes and socks and hold their ankles in place, and another pair of robotic arms holding feathers to tickle their bare feet.

Johnny and Dukey then surprises the Tickler by emerging from a hole in the ground and orders him to release Mary and Susan. While the Tickler is distracted, Dukey and Albert sneak behind him and successfully free the sisters from the Tickle Loungers.

The Tickler tries to go after Johnny, but Johnny speeds off and gets behind Albert, putting Albert in the Tickler's path. The Tickler uses his "tickle belt" on Albert, but to his annoyance, Albert isn't ticklish! Frustrated, the Tickler orders the belt to tickle faster and faster. However, after too much tickling, the belt explodes, leaving the Tickler defenseless.

Johnny and Dukey seize the opportunity, sticking the Tickler to a Tickle Lounger with special glue the sisters had. They activate it, leaving the Tickler to be tickled as a taste of his own medicine. He responds by yelling that he doesn't like being tickled, and everyone laughs.

  • Johnnygetstickled
    Running Gags:
    • Whenever Johnny goes to ask a villain for advice, he claims that he chose them first. Possibly to earn their trust.
    • The Tickler is continuasly mistaken as Wacko in the episode.
      • It could be because of the similar physical appearance or since Wacko appeared nowhere other than this episode.
      • It could also be that people falsely implied that Wacko himself was pretending to be his brother since they were never shown together in the same episode or in other episodes.
    • Someone says "I never knew that psycho had a brother".
  • Wacko's twin brother, the Tickler, is introduced and seems to be jealous of Wacko due to being the family's favorite.

The Tickler uses his tickle belt to tickle Johnny.

  • The Tickler has a belt that when pressed, four arms come out and two hold the person while the other two arms tickle the person. The belt can tickle at any speed, although can malfunction when tickling too much.
  • The Tickler reveals at the end of the episode he does not like being tickled.
  • The list of tickling objects/places the Tickler has is:
    • A tickling belt
    • A tickle lab
    • A tickle lounge
    • Tickle ice cream/dust
  • This is the second time in the series that Susan and Mary's feet became smaller; The first is Johnny Cruise.
  • Dark Vegan apparently had 2 prototype helmets that he gave to Johnny and Dukey: Johnny's was shaped like broccoli and Dukey's was shaped like a leek.
  • Albert is revealed to be immune to tickling and to originate from Lancaster.
  • Johnny is revealed to be very ticklish.
  • Susan and Mary are revealed to be very and/or extremely ticklish. They appear to be equally ticklish and are shown to be especially ticklish on their feet, with the tickle torture being very effective on them.
  • Dukey breaks the fourth wall by mentioning to the audience how many times the freeze ray was used in Season 5 and how it always helps Johnny gain an advantage.

Goofs[]

  • When Susan and Mary were being tickled, they were shown to be barefoot. After that, they're briefly shown with their shoes on, and a few seconds later, they are barefoot again.
  • When Dukey froze the Tickler the arms are not frozen so Johnny either should have still been held up or continued to be tickled. It's possible that the freezing made the arms stop working.
