Johnny is at school and is told there will be a history test the next day. Johnny is worried as he's not studied enough for the test, so he tries to find ways of getting sick, so he doesn't have to go to school. All of Johnny's attempts at getting sick fail, but he'll soon find luck...

Johnny goes to the lab and proceeds to drink many isotopes there while ignoring Mary and Susan's pleas for him to stop. All the isotopes have different effects on him and the last one gives him red spots and a purple tongue. Johnny is happy as he now looks sick enough to not go to school, and he says "Cool.". His sisters correct him by saying "Not cool!". Mary and Susan don't want their parents to see Johnny the way he is but Johnny is gone before the two can make a decision on what to do.

Johnny goes to his mom and dad, and they are left shocked by his sick appearance. Johnny goes to see a doctor and the doctor is left baffled and intrigued by his condition. Johnny goes back home and is happy that he can now stay at home for the foreseeable future but his happiness won't last for long...

Mary, Susan, and Dukey look into the effects of the isotope and find out that Johnny will immensely bloat, get a violent cough, and eventually explode! Dukey is worried but Mary and Susan say they'll make a cure for Johnny. Mary, Susan, and Dukey go up to Johnny's room and break the news to him. Johnny lets out a scream when he hears the news and not long after that he gets put into quarantine.

Later, Johnny is strapped down, so he can be tested on by a doctor and a nurse. Johnny then enters the bloating phase of his condition causing his entire body to rapidly gain weight to the point that his stomach protrudes from his t-shirt. Johnny is close to being tested on but Mary, Susan, and Dukey arrive in time to save him. Susan hands the cure over to Johnny but the nurse throws an object at Johnny's hand causing the antidote to fall out of a window.

Johnny, Mary, Susan, and Dukey then start running away with the security guards chasing after them. An elevator conveniently shows up and the four of them get in it, so they can retrieve the antidote. While on the elevator Johnny enters the violent coughing phase and says it's just the thing he was hoping for. The elevator doors open and Johnny coughs so violently that it causes the doctor, nurse, and security guards to fly back.

The group exit the elevator and Susan says "That is one nasty cough!". Johnny then looks down as his entire body starts to bloat even worse than before causing the button on his pants to come off as it couldn't handle the immense weight he was putting on. Johnny's underwear is also revealed slightly due to the button on his pants being gone. Johnny then smashes through a wall of the hospital and Mary and Susan climb onto Johnny to give him the antidote. Johnny drinks the antidote and then reverts back to normal. The doctor, nurse, and security guards leave as Johnny is now cured. Johnny is happy to be back to normal but when he goes back to school the next day he let's out a large "NOOOOO!" because of the history test.

Johnnyitis is the first part of 33rd episode and the 65th episode over all.

Plot

Johnny is at school and is told there will be a history test the next day. Johnny is worried as he's not studied enough for the test, so he tries to find ways of getting sick, so he doesn't have to go to school. All of Johnny's attempts at getting sick fail, but he'll soon find luck...
