• How do I send the adoption repuest?

      Loading editor
• Good. Here's how you do it:

1. Go to the Adoption:Requests page. If you open that in a new tab on your web browser, you can refer to the instruction here as you fill it out.
2. Scroll down just below the "International adoption request links" section.
3. Click on the text box that starts with "Enter wiki name here" and erase all of that.
4. Type in Johnny Test Wiki and click on Add new request.
5. A new page will open up. Fill out each section. I'll help you with some of it.

For the "What is your username?", put it in. The link to the wiki will be Johnny Test. Highlight and copy that from here and paste it into the form. As of right now, you have 405 edits here and the first time you came here was December 20, 2015, so that goes in the third and fourth lines. For item number five, the last admin to be here was JasonL, and his last edit was on June 16, 2015.

The last thing you will need to put in is after the "Any other information" section. You can put in that you started a blog to announce you want to adopt the wiki (here's the link you can copy and paste there: Adoption of this wiki ) and you can mention that I got the discussion started about it over on Devonl12's message wall ( Bureaucrats? ).

It will take at least a week for them to review the request, so keep making edits until you hear back from them.

• Hey Rabbit. Celsius here. I saw your remade statements on Bling-Bling Boy and somehow, I'm not surprised. Don't erase the whole page and put the stuff from Wikipedia on it in the future. Just saying.

• In this case, Valenthyne had partially fixed the vandalism, then it got re-vandalized two more times. The information you put in was quite different than what originally was there, so I wasn't sure if you were trying to re-add the info from memory. In these situations, reverting to an earlier version of the page is usually the most reliable way of fixing the page.

But since it looks like you did an overhaul on the page to get rid of the info that was from Wikipedia, I undid my last edit to bring yours back.

• Thanks. However, what I put there was of my own words rather than how it was first created.

• Hey is their any way for us to block User:Teehay, he's back.

• It's close to that point, but compared to the kind of vandalism others have committed, this is more of a nuisance. It might not be enough to warrant the VSTF getting involved.

Remember, don't rename the page. Every time you do this, it means there's double the number of pages to be deleted. Just use the Delete template.

• I know I added a lot but those pages must be deleted check them to see

• I have checked all of the pages that you and Devonl12 marked for deletion. There's a better way to do this that reduces the amount of cleanup that has to be done.

1. Don't rename the page. If you do this, it creates a redirect at the old page name that also has to be deleted.
2. Use the Delete template. This will let you specify a reason why the page should be deleted and will include the "Candidates for deletion" category automatically. Examples:
vandalism
duplicate of an existing page

Not all wikis have updated the Delete template to allow you to add a reason inside it, but I try to add that parameter on the ones I go to when I fix vandalism. Saves having to go to the separate Talk page for the category to explain why it should be deleted.

When the vandalism includes pages that are renamed, whenever possible, let an admin move the page back to the correct name. They can do it without the redirect that is normally created when a page is moved to a new name.
